A mid-western based in New York City, Anthony Patellis is an American Director, Writer, Producer, with an extensive acting background.

A theater director, he has worked extensively Off-Broadway, across the USA, and in London. He is currently a National Director of the Off-Broadway improvisation sensation, Tony ’n Tina’s Wedding.

An actor, Anthony has worked in world-class productions in 17 countries on 3 continents, including famed La Scala Opera in Milan, Italy, and John F. Kennedy Center in Washington DC. He stars in the new film Team Marco, premiering in 2020, as well as in guest-starring roles from Gotham to The Soprano’s, playing the Principal of Bergen High School, Charles Cirrillo.
A writer, Anthony’s screenplay, When We Were Young, was a 2018 finalist at Slamdance and Beverly Hills Film Festivals.

He is currently collaborating as Director and Co-writer, with the Creator of Hooked, Brittany Portman. Hooked is their first project together since forming Brittony Productions in 2019, and is a culmination of his past work, and his most ambitious on-camera production to date.

As a young actor arriving in NYC, Anthony studied with famed acting teachers, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Harold Clurman, among others, and pays it forward, privately coaching theater and film actors young and old. He teaches improvisational-acting workshops to young actors, at Dance Molinari, in New York City.
